ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE POLICY
It is the policy of Zeagle Energy Limited to strictly forbid the use, unauthorized possession of, distribution, or sale of drugs, alcohol, controlled or illegal substances by personnel engaged in company business. Accordingly, the company is committed to achieve the implementation of the following measures.
- To ban the possession or use of alcohol, drugs or controlled substances on the Company premises.
- To expel anyone from the Company premises after it has been verified that they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- To search any persons, their personal effects, their vehicle and their contents, if such persons are reasonably suspected of the unauthorized possession of alcohol, drugs or controlled substances on Company premises/workplace.
- To screen persons when there is reasonable cause to suspect a breach of this policy or following an accident, in order to determine if a person is in possession of or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substances.
- To ensure contractors/sub-contractors’ advice the Company in the event of its employee’s or agent engaged on Company business being indicted by Customs & Excise department or the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in respect of a drug or alcohol related offences.
- To ensure that contractors/sub-contractors have in place, procedures which will enable them to deal satisfactory with alcohol and drug abuse problems.
The HSE Coordinator of Zeagle Energy Limited is responsible for the overall implementation of this Alcohol and Drug abuse policy.
